Add packaging costs

The rates pulled from the Australia Post API via our app don't account for packaging costs.

If you would like to account for packaging costs in the price displayed to your customers you'll need to add the cost to a package.

If you haven't already set up packages, follow this guide Create a package, and while you are creating your packages you can assign a cost in the 'Packaging Price' section.

If you have already set up your packages follow this guide Edit or delete a package, and look for the 'Packaging Price' section toward the bottom.

If you would like to account for packaging costs in the price displayed to your customers, but don't want to set up packages, one work-around is to add a Handling Fee instead. Follow our guide: Add a percentage or fixed price adjustment to rates.
