Do I need to setup product weights and dimensions?

Yes, to display shipping rates at checkout, all products must have assigned weights in Shopify. Addition uses these weights to generate accurate shipping quotes.

For the best accuracy, we also recommend adding product dimensions. This prevents overcharging or unexpected costs by allowing Addition to select the most suitable packaging.

🔹 Note: If you're using eParcel or StarTrack, rates are based on your contract and may not require package dimensions for Australia Post, i.e. you are charged based on physical weight only
