Products Components e.g. One product, sent in multiple packages

Components are used to define the individual pieces of a complex product. Complex products are useful to allow multi-part items to be evaluated for shipping at a greater precision.

For example, a bed frame is made up of multiple large parts, which will likely be shipped in multiple shipments. By specifying the components that make up this complex product, you're able to give each component dimensions, allowing the app to determine the product's shipping rates more accurately.

Follow the guide below to add or edit components and their dimensions.

How to add components to a product

1. From your Addition dashboard, click Products.

2. Then click Edit on the product you wish to add components to.

   

3. Click Add Component until you have one for each part making up the product, then fill in each component's details.

   

4. Make sure to Save your changes.
