Managing Orders in Addition

The Orders screen in Addition is your central hub for handling order fulfilment. As soon as you receive an order on Shopify, it syncs in real time with Addition, allowing you to manage it instantly.

What You Can Do from the Orders Screen

1️⃣ Start the Fulfilment Process

  • Quickly view new orders as they sync from Shopify.
  • Select orders and begin the shipping and label generation process.
  • Addition ensures all order details, including customer shipping information, are accurately pulled from Shopify.

2️⃣ Organise Orders into Fulfilment Groups

  • Sort orders based on their shipping method, urgency, or other fulfilment criteria.
  • Easily group orders that share similar shipping settings to streamline batch processing.
  • This is especially useful if you're processing multiple orders at once with the same packaging or courier service.

3️⃣ Review Order Details

  • Check important order information at a glance, including:

    ✅ Customer details (name, address, contact)

    ✅ Shipping method selected at checkout

    ✅ Items in the order (including weight and dimensions)

    ✅ Packaging requirements (automatically matched based on your settings)

    ✅ Order status (pending, fulfilled, partially fulfilled)

  • Ensure everything is correct before fulfilment, preventing errors in packaging or shipping.

4️⃣ Print Packing Slips

  • Generate and print packing slips directly from Addition.
  • Packing slips help with order accuracy by listing items included in the package.
  • Can be used as an internal checklist or sent with the package for customer reference.
