Basic Plan - Getting Started

In order for the app to calculate shipping rates at your checkout:

  1. Connect Your Rates: You need to connect either Retail, MyPost Business or StarTrack rates.
  2. Set Up Packages: Create and set up your packages within Addition.
  3. Assign Product Weights in Shopify: Ensure weights are assigned to your products in Shopify.
  4. Add Product Dimensions in Addition: Especially important if you have multiple packages, product dimensions help the app determine what package to use to quote shipping rates.

Setup Guide

Upon first install on the Homepage, you have the option to 'Set up Shipping Rates with Addition'. Click on 'Get Started', and you will be taken through the process step by step. Going through the guide is the easiest way to get started! Revisit the Setup Guide at any time you need to reconfigure rates.

Using Australia Post flat rate satchels or boxes?  If you want to display Australia Post flat rates, i.e. you use packages from the "If it packs, it posts" range - ensure to select rates with (size, e.g. Small, Medium) plus satchel or box in the name, e.g. Parcel Post Flat Rate Satchel (Small)
