How packaging works

The packaging feature in Addition lets you set up multiple packages, recording details like weight and dimensions. You can save Australia Post’s standard satchels, padded mailers, tube mailers, or add your own custom packages.

By entering package details, the shipping rates your customers see at checkout will be more accurate. Saving the weight and dimensions of frequently used packages also streamlines your fulfillment process, making it more efficient.

If you use non-standard sizes, adding custom packages ensures your shipping rates reflect the actual packaging you use instead of defaulting to a standard Australia Post option.

To view your packages, click "Packaging" in the left-hand navigation of the Addition app.
