How to Delete a Shipment

If you need to delete a shipment in the Australia Post Shipping (Addition) app, the steps depend on whether or not the shipment has already been manifested.

Delete a Shipment (Not Yet Manifested)

If your shipment hasn't been manifested yet, you can delete it directly in the app:


Fulfilment group:

  1. Open the fulfilment group that contains the shipment
  2. In Step 2, find the order and Click on the Consignment ID in blue
  3. On the right side, click Actions.
  4. Select Delete.

Single order fulfilment, Orders screen:

  1. In the Orders screen, search for the order
  2. Click Ship
  3. Delete Shipment

✅ Deleting a shipment is only possible before it's been manifested/paid for.


Can’t Delete a Shipment? It’s Already Manifested/Paid for

If the shipment has already been manifested or paid for, you won’t be able to delete it in the app.

Instead, you’ll need to request a refund or cancellation directly from Australia Post:

For MyPost Business or eParcel:

  • Log in to your AusPost account and contact their support team.
  • You can also request a refund online via the MyPost Business/eParcel portal.

For StarTrack:

  • Email the StarTrack team at connote.deletion@startrack.com.au.
  • Include your account number and the connote number you want deleted.
