How to Delete a Shipment
If you need to delete a shipment in the Australia Post Shipping (Addition) app, the steps depend on whether or not the shipment has already been manifested.
Delete a Shipment (Not Yet Manifested)
If your shipment hasn't been manifested yet, you can delete it directly in the app:
Fulfilment group:
- Open the fulfilment group that contains the shipment
- In Step 2, find the order and Click on the Consignment ID in blue
- On the right side, click Actions.
- Select Delete.
Single order fulfilment, Orders screen:
- In the Orders screen, search for the order
- Click Ship
- Delete Shipment
✅ Deleting a shipment is only possible before it's been manifested/paid for.
Can’t Delete a Shipment? It’s Already Manifested/Paid for
If the shipment has already been manifested or paid for, you won’t be able to delete it in the app.
Instead, you’ll need to request a refund or cancellation directly from Australia Post:
For MyPost Business or eParcel:
- Log in to your AusPost account and contact their support team.
- You can also request a refund online via the MyPost Business/eParcel portal.
For StarTrack:
- Email the StarTrack team at connote.deletion@startrack.com.au.
- Include your account number and the connote number you want deleted.
